Colleen is an individual who has been on a challenging journey since her diagnosis with lupus in 2010 while pursuing their education at The University of Georgia. This autoimmune disease has brought about significant trials and tribulations in her life.

She expressed, “living with lupus is far from easy, characterised by a multitude of struggles including pain, inflammation, frequent doctor visits, and reliance on medication. The battle against this condition is relentless, demanding unwavering resilience and determination.”

Lupus affects each individual differently, and for some, it may be visibly apparent. Despite the obstacles, Colleens aspiration is to lead a normal and healthy life, showcasing her indomitable spirit in the face of adversity.
